How can I customise my shoes online?
We offer you several possibilities to customize your shoes online at www.doublegcustoms.com. You can use our online personalization tools that give you access to a wide range of models and personalization options such as inscriptions, designs, beads, Swarovski rhinestones, bows, laces, tulle ... You can also order our models of personalized shoes for more ease by incorporating your initials, the date of a big event, your first names ... depending on the model chosen
I have a specific project, can you do it?
If you can't find what you're looking for among our many customization options for your shoes, we can also offer you a customization according to your desires. To do so, ask for a quote via the contact tab, detailing as precisely as possible your personalized shoe project.
Can I have a preview of my personalised pair before I place my order?
It is possible to obtain a visual of your future personalized pair of shoes before ordering. This service is charged at 25€ which will be deducted from the total amount in case of order. To receive your visual, contact us and describe your project as precisely as possible.
The shoes
What types/brands of shoes do you work on?
We work mainly with Converse, Adidas and Nike. We also offer our own line of leather shoes. For a custom project, we can also work on any brand or model of shoes to create your own personalized pair of sneakers. Do not hesitate to contact us to know the possibilities of customization on a particular model.
Can I provide the pair of shoes to be personalised?
On www.doublegcustoms.com, when you place an order, the pair of shoes is always included with the personalization. However, you can provide the pair of shoes yourself if you wish. Please note that the shoes must be new and you must send them to us by mail. Contact us to get a quote for your personalized shoes project without the pair included.
Are the shoes authentic?
Of course, we only work with original models from Converse, Adidas and Nike and we buy from official suppliers.
How do I choose my shoe size?
To make sure you order the right size, we suggest you check your size in the Size Guide. We also recommend that you try on a pair of the chosen model in shop if you have never worn the brand's shoes before to check your size.
RATES AND PAYMENTS
How much does a personalised pair cost?
For collection models, the price is fixed and is displayed on each product sheet.
For custom-made models, the basic price is displayed and this is modified according to the different options chosen.
For a tailor-made project, we work on the basis of an estimate, depending on the different elements of customisation and the complexity of the project.
What payment methods are available?
You can order your personalized shoes using the following payment methods: Paypal, credit card and Bancontact. We work with the payment providers Paypal and Stripe for 100% secure online payments. In case you do not have access to one of these payment methods, we can also provide you with an account number to make a transfer.
Can I pay in instalments?
We offer payment in instalments via our payment provider Alma. You can pay in 2, 3 or 4 monthly instalments at no extra cost.
Is there a discount if I order several pairs?
If you have a customization project requiring more than 5 pairs of shoes, such as a wedding with witnesses in sneakers or a customization of shoes between friends, you can contact us to obtain a preferential rate under certain conditions.
Delivery and delivery times
How soon will my order be shipped?
Making your own pair of custom shoes takes time. We fine-tune every detail so that the pair of sneakers is authentic and beautiful. The manufacturing time of your personalized pair of shoes varies from 2 to 8 weeks on average and depends mainly on the model and the brand of shoes you have chosen. You will find on each product sheet the approximate time needed for this.
You are creating personalized shoes for a particular event? We strongly advise you to place your order at least 2 months before the big day for more peace of mind. You can also send us a message to check the feasibility of your order in case of a shorter delay.
How long will my order take to arrive?
The estimated delivery time by our carrier is:
1-2 working days for Belgium
2-3 working days for France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Germany
4-5 working days for other European countries
5-10 working days for the rest of the world
How do I track the delivery of my order?
All our packages are shipped with tracking numbers. Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking number. If your tracking number does not show any information yet, don't panic, it usually takes 24 hours for it to be updated after the shipment.
Which countries do you deliver to?
We deliver our custom shoes to designers around the world.
Will there be any customs duties or taxes?
If you live outside of Europe, you may be charged additional taxes or customs duties upon delivery of your order. Unfortunately we have no control over these additional charges and are not responsible for them.
Is the delivery secure?
Your orders are prepared with the utmost care to arrive in perfect condition. We use heavy duty double fluted cardboard packaging to ensure that each order arrives in perfect condition. Each delivery has its own tracking number and is insured with a signature for optimal tracking.
Is there a delivery charge?
Delivery costs are calculated according to the weight and destination country of your order. Once you have added the items in your order to the shopping cart, you will be shown the delivery cost according to the country of destination.
Returns and after-sales service
I have not received my order, what should I do?
If you have not yet received your order: check your order tracking. It may be in the process of being delivered or may have been delivered to a relay point. You can also contact the delivery service, which will be able to give you more information about the status of your order. If you are still unable to obtain information on the status of your order, please contact us.
I have received my order but it contains an error or a defect, what should I do?
If you notice a customisation error or an obvious defect on the shoe, we invite you to contact us with good quality photos within 15 days of receiving your order.
The parcel arrived damaged, what should I do?
If, despite all the care we take with the packaging of our parcels, you notice that the parcel and its contents are damaged on arrival, we invite you to take photos and report it to the carrier so that it can be returned directly.
My order does not suit me, can I return it?
Each pair of shoes, whether they come from our online customisation modules or from our collection models, is made by hand at
after your order. For this reason, we do not accept any returns that are not motivated by an error on our part or an obvious defect on the shoe. We therefore invite you to be particularly careful when choosing your shoe size.
For accessories such as laces, cleaning products, charms, etc., you can return them within 14 days in their original packaging.
Are there any return shipping costs?
In the case of a return due to a defect or error on our part, we will pay the return postage. You will receive a label to print and stick on the package.
If the return is for personal reasons, you will be responsible for the cost of the return. The price of the returned item will be refunded if it is eligible and is returned within 14 days of receipt.
