The Adidas Superstar model was launched in 1969. These sneakers were the first to feature rubber toe caps. Many basketball players were drawn to Adidas Superstars, to the point where 75% of NBA players wore them! While sneakers were initially dedicated to sports, today they are an integral part of everyday fashion. Originally available in black and white, they have since been released in a growing number of colors. Custom Adidas Superstars have also been produced in large quantities to add a touch of originality to the shoe. Currently, Adidas Superstars for various occasions, including weddings.
