The Nike Air Force 1 was created in 1982 by Bruce Kilgore with the ambition of creating a pair of sneakers with unparalleled performance. The Air Force 1 takes its name from the US presidential aircraft and aims to help athletes who wear it achieve incredible results. Its design is inspired by the Nike Approach, a hiking shoe.
