It experienced incredible success, but as it grew, the two brothers increasingly clashed. They eventually separated and each created their own company: Adidas and Puma. Throughout their careers, they constantly challenged each other through lawsuits and commercial battles. They both held the second and third positions in the world's best sports equipment market, behind Nike. At the time, the feud between the founders of Adidas and Puma extended to their employees, but today, both companies maintain that they manage their rivalry in a healthy way.
